The Chairman and CEO of MAPFRE, Antonio Huertas, explains that the new strategic approach means doing things “differently”, and taking advantage of new opportunities and advances in the technological and social sphere, of which the company wants to be at the fore.

In the cover interview of the last issue of the magazine Empresario, published by the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (Confederación Española de Organizaciones Empresariales or CEOE), the most senior executive of MAPFRE and Chairman of the company’s Transformation and Innovation Committee, gives a special mention to technology, about which he says he is “enthusiastic” and considers a source of “continuous learning”.

Antonio Huertas also analyzes the importance, to a leading company such as MAPFRE, of remaining cautious in an uncertain and volatile climate, requiring us to be aware of the risks, and instill confidence and predictability, fundamental aspects in the insurance activities it conducts through its relationship with clients.

MAPFRE operates homogeneously, with a high level of service” in all the markets where it has a presence. That is, “in the countries where we want to be”, on the five continents, with insurance professionals who have the utmost specialization to enable them to know and assess the most sophisticated of risks.
