BB E MAPFRE celebrates five years of partnership

The company organized an event attended by nearly 800 people and the State of São Paulo Symphony Orchestra

During its five years of activities, the GRUPO SEGURADOR BANCO DO BRASIL E MAPFRE (BB E MAPFRE) has achieved positive financial results, more than doubling the volume of business and with significant growth in efficiency, operational results and services.

The combination of the BANCO DO BRASIL distribution network, with a broad presence (more than 5,000 agencies) throughout the country, its proximity to the clients and knowledge of Brazilian society, together with the high level of MAPFRE’s specialization in the development of insurance products, has been a differentiating factor in the Brazilian market.

“We have experienced a 74 percent growth in premiums, created more than 2,000 direct job opportunities and taken care of more than five million people”, confirms Marcos Ferreira, Chairman of the BB E MAPFRE GROUP in the Automobile, General Insurance and Affinities areas. To achieve this result the company drew up a wide ranging commercial strategy, as well as making investments in technology and innovation for the development of new products and services for the insured parties.

To celebrate this anniversary the company held an event in the Sala São Paulo which consisted of a special concert by the State of São Paulo Symphony Orchestra (OSESP), one of the institutions supported by BB E MAPFRE by means of the Cultural Incentive Law. With the participation of nearly 800 people, between clients, members, employees and the media, the event brought art and culture together.
