Ignacio Baeza Gómez, current third vice chairman of MAPFRE, will replace Antonio Núñez as first vice chairman of the Board of Directors and the Steering Committee of MAPFRE S.A. and will continue as chairman of the Board of Directors of MAPFRE ASISTENCIA, as well as supervising the Corporate Business and Clients Area and the SOLUNION company. He will also take on supervision of MAPFRE Economic Research.
José Manuel Inchausti Pérez has been appointed a member of the Board of Directors of MAPFRE S.A., as an executive director, replacing Antonio Núñez Tovar, and third vice chairman of the Board of Directors of MAPFRE, replacing Ignacio Baeza. José Manuel Inchausti will continue to exercise his responsibilities as CEO of MAPFRE ESPAÑA, member of the Group’s Executive Committee and member of the Boards of Directors of MAPFRE ESPAÑA, MAPFRE VIDA, MAPFRE RE and MAPFRE GLOBAL RISKS.
Other corporate appointments and changes in responsibilities
Fernando Mata Verdejo will take on supervision of the Resources Division and the Real Estate Management Division, retaining his current functions as member of the Board of Directors of MAPFRE S.A., member of the Boards of Directors of MAPFRE ESPAÑA and MAPFRE INTERNACIONAL, Group CFO and chairman of the Acquisitions Committee.
All of these changes will take effect on July 18, 2018.
María Luisa Gordillo Gutiérrez is appointed Group Chief Internal Audit Officer of the Corporate Internal Audit Area, with effect from January 1, 2019, replacing José Manuel Muries Navarro, who will retire as an executive on December 31, 2018. María Luisa Gordillo is currently assistant general manager of Accounting Control and Supervision within the Corporate Finance Area.

MAPFRE GLOBAL RISKS
Within the restructuring framework of the Global Risks Unit, the completion of which is envisaged for the end of 2018, the following appointments have been announced:
Francisco José Marco Orenes as chairman of the Board of Directors of MAPFRE GLOBAL RISKS, replacing Ignacio Baeza Gómez.
Juan Bosco Francoy Olagüe, current COO of the Global Risks Unit has been appointed CEO of this Unit, replacing Ignacio Baeza Gómez.
These changes will take effect on January 1, 2019.
