MAPFRE and Banco Sabadell have sealed an alliance in Mexico that will allow them to offer financial and comprehensive protection services through the sale of insurance to clients of both companies.

Under the terms of the agreement, Banco Sabadell will include the MAPFRE insurance portfolio in its range of financial services, reinforcing the value proposition of both companies. Surprisingly, only 4 percent of SMEs in Mexico are fully insured and a high percentage of businesses and corporations lack comprehensive cover, so the alliance will also promote a culture of prevention in the Mexican business ecosystem.

As Jesús Martínez, Regional CEO LATAM NORTH and CEO MAPFRE Mexico, pointed out, the alliance will enable them to offer Sabadell clients protection schemes to safeguard the integrity of their business and all the areas involved in pursuing their daily operations. These services will be offered in a customized manner directly by MAPFRE.

On behalf of Banco Sabadell in Mexico, GENERAL MANAGER Francesc Noguera said that its agreement with MAPFRE is a step forward for the bank in terms of consolidating its presence in the Mexican market because it widens the range of products open to current and prospective clients.

Inauguration of HQ in Mexico

Meanwhile, MAPFRE Mexico received a boost last week with the inauguration of the new headquarters in Mexico City. Located at Number 507 on Avenida Revolución (Colonia San Pedro de los Pinos), the building houses all of the insurance company’s business areas to streamline and facilitate services for collaborators and clients alike.
