MAPFRE MEXICO has been recognized by Merca2.0 for its strong online presence strategy.
It is no secret that the current global situation has forced companies to invest time and money in digital strategies so they can continue to provide the service to which their clients are accustomed. However, it is those companies that have spent years working on their digital transformation and that had already cemented their online presence that have been able to stand out from their competition. That’s why Mexican magazine Merca2.0 has ranked 500 digital companies, awarding scores based on their SEO, social networks and technological implementation strategy.
And it’s here that MAPFRE MEXICO has placed at number 13 overall — the highest ranking insurer on the list. Jesús Martínez, CEO of MAPFRE LATAM North and CEO of MAPFRE MEXICO commented on the news: “We will continue to work on the innovation, presence and digital reputation of our company. Awards like this tells us that we are on the right path — the ultimate goal is the satisfaction and service we offer our clients, whether face-to-face or through a device.”
MAPFRE MEXICO has a solid content strategy, boasting its Más que seguros blog, digital webinars with timely and relevant information on personal finance and industry, as well as a fast and supportive service for its clients and followers; it has also carried this success across to its digital channel, which saw 35 percent growth in the first three quarters of the year.
Amaury Nieto, Director of Marketing and Digital Business, added “We can no longer talk about digital companies. Digital transformation cannot be seen as a future strategy; if you weren’t working on it already, you have to do it now as a matter of urgency. We’d like to thank Merca2.0 for their recognition. Our work is not over yet and we will continue to innovate in our strategy, content and services.”
This is just one of the accolades MAPFRE MEXICO has won this year — the company also medaled at number 3 in consulting firm Merco’s ranking of responsible companies thanks to its comprehensive strategy (the insurer with the best corporate reputation for the fourth time), and was placed at number 11 in the Employers for Youth ranking, which recognizes the best companies for young professionals.
