The British publication awarded this distinction to MAPFRE PERU in recognition of its commitment in life insurance to client orientation.

MAPFRE PERU has received the distinction of Best Insurer in the Life category in Peru at the 2017 edition of the Global Insurance Awards, which are granted annually by World Finance magazine.

To elect the category winner, the publication evaluates criteria like the speed of underwriting and issuing processes, risk management, business development, complaint resolution, price and new clients.

First granted in 2007, the annual Global Insurance Awards recognize the best insurance practices. The winners are chosen by a panel whose members also include the Reuters and Bloomberg agencies and the Financial Times, as well as experts in the worldwide insurance industry.

The print edition of World Finance has 120,000 subscribers and its online version more than 1 million. Its principal readership includes executives, CEOs and experts in business and finance topics.
