Over 90 percent of employees in Spain are working remotely

MAPFRE continues to implement its Business Contingency Plan with the goal of protecting the health of employees, collaborators and clients, while maintaining the highest possible quality of service.

The company has increased the number of employees in Spain working remotely to over 90 percent in order to reduce the risk of infection and guarantee continued service. With regard to the network offices, the minimum number of offices required for attending to clients will remain open and the utmost safety will be ensured.

MAPFRE intends to continue serving clients with the highest quality possible despite the exceptional circumstances that Spain is facing. To this end, it has reinforced the remote customer service channels, including MAPFRE’s Internet Client Area, the various apps and the usual customer service telephone number in Spain (+34 918 365 365). Clients are reminded to use these telematic channels if they need to contact the company.

MAPFRE is adhering to the recommendations of staying at home to help contain the pandemic and acting responsibly in such an extraordinary period. In this regard, and especially in relation to health insurance, the company recommends postponing non-urgent services to free up resources that may be required to combat coronavirus.
