For the fifth year running, MAPFRE was once again positioned as the company in the insurance industry with the best reputation at the 9th edition of MERCO Companies and Leaders of Mexico.

The goal of this ranking is to highlight the companies and leaders with the most consolidated reputation during the year. This year’s event was held online with the participation of MERCO CEO José María San Segundo and MERCO Mexico Director Itzel Torres.

The analysis is conducted by studying surveys given to a thousand executives from large companies. The results are examined by the consulting firm KPMG, which guarantees a reliable, impartial analysis of the reputation of the best companies.

MAPFRE achieved its best position in Spain in the ranking’s 20-year history, earning sixth place among all companies: the only insurance company to break into the top 10 on the list. Chairman Antonio Huertas also held on to his 11th-place spot in the ranking of leaders.
