Renault Sport F1 has just unveiled the new RS18, which will be driven by Carlos Sainz and Nico Hülkenberg in this season’s F1 championship.

The car is blacker than before, with less yellow, and the MAPFRE logo’s prime positioning on the monocoque reflects the recently signed agreement with Renault, which reinforces our company’s sponsoring of the F1 team over the next five years.

The French manufacturer invited to make a hand craft hours before discovering the RS18, in which the presence of MAPFRE is more visible in the front and on both sides, as well as in the overalls and helmets of the pilots.

MAPFRE’s visibility on the car is greatly enhanced, with the logo featuring prominently on the nose and wings, as well as on the drivers’ racing suits and helmets.

The alliance between MAPFRE and Renault was presented in Paris at a meeting of the companies’ respective leaders, Antonio Huertas, chairman and CEO of MAPFRE and Carlos Ghosn, chairman and CEO of Groupe Renault. The agreement goes beyond mere sports sponsorship and opens the door to a joint analysis of mobility solutions and services linked to the future role of automobile insurance.
