MAPFRE celebrates diversity and works toward developing local cultures. That is why we are inviting you to share your identity on social networks using your native language and the hashtag #ThinkOfAWord.
Languages are key for communication, social integration, education and development. However, in this globalized world, often languages do not get the recognition they deserve as unique instruments of thought and expression. To promote multilingualism and cultural diversity, International Mother Language Day is celebrated every year on February 21.
As MAPFRE operates worldwide and has employees of 84 different nationalities, MAPFRE knows that diversity makes us unique. Help MAPFRE to celebrate this diversity and share MAPFRE’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals which, among other things, include the promotion of linguistic diversity. MAPFRE has a challenge for you:
THINK OF A WORD IN YOUR MOTHER LANGUAGE
AND SHARE IT ON SOCIAL NETWORKS!
It is very simple:
- UPLOAD A VIDEO STATING YOUR NAME AND YOUR MOTHER LANGUAGE.
For example: My name is Ana and my mother language is English
- SHARE A SPECIAL WORD IN YOUR LANGUAGE.
For example: I give you the word WINDOWSILL
- ALSO WRITE YOUR LANGUAGE AND YOUR WORD WITHIN THE TWEET, ADDING THE HASHTAG: #ThinkOfAWord
Let’s flood social networks with words!
