Merco (Monitor Empresarial de Reputación Corporativa — corporate reputation monitoring body) has placed MAPFRE Uruguay at the top of its industry in the corporate reputation ranking for the second year running, placing 67th among the top 100 companies in the country.
As outlined by MAPFRE Uruguay, this recognition will encourage the company to continue to grow.
Compiled for the second year in Uruguay, the ranking highlights the talent and economic results of companies, among other variables. The process by which the 100 leading organizations were selected and ranked was independently audited by KPMG.
In recent months MAPFRE has been likewise recognized in Spain, leading the industry ranking and the only Spanish insurer to feature in the top 10 of the Merco ranking. The company has had similar success in Mexico, where MAPFRE holds the top spot in its industry in terms of corporate reputation for the fourth year running.
In Latin America, MAPFRE remains among the Top 25 companies in terms of reputation and once again tops the industry ranking this year. Merco has become a benchmark for the analysis of companies’ reputations and of leaders in the region.
