Daniel P. Olohan, General Counsel & Secretary of MAPFRE USA, spoke to the ‘New England In-House’ magazine about his experience in the company.

During the interview, Olohan provided a panoramic view of MAPFRE USA, which employs 2,000 people, and highlighted the company’s role as “a key stakeholder” for the region as a whole. “It’s a great base for our operations,” he says.

“The US insurance market is highly regulated and perhaps the most complex in the world,” explains Olohan.

“Within the company, you have to think about the bigger picture and consider how each project fits within the company globally,” he says in the interview. Finally, he highlights the confidence he has in his team, which he defines as “transparent and communicative.”
